We’re all social creatures - Having more social companions can be really important for the dog’s health based on a new study that comes from the most extensive dog longevity initiative of its kind.
The Egypt ban - Egypt has essentially banned all dogs except 10 breeds. Those who own dogs that are not on the “allowed list” will have to go through strict inspections and might be arbitrarily confiscated by the authorities. This is a terrible situation that begs the question, what is going to happen to these poor dogs?
Oldest living cat - Flossie, a 27-year-old cat, holds the World Guinness Record for the oldest currently living cat. BTW the oldest cat to ever live was Creme Puff, a Texas cat who lived to be 38 years old.
Daschunds break the record - Add this to the list of records you never knew existed. Nearly 1,400 Dachshunds went for a walk together breaking the world record for largest dog walk by a single breed.
A walk in the park - A man from Scotland decided to take his 20 pets for a walk in the park. No biggie right? The only problem, his pets are very large snakes, which caused parkgoers a bit of a fright.
Didn’t go far - Jemima the tortoise went missing two years ago, luckily it was found only 5 miles away from home.

Meet Lexi: Lexi is a 2.5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Her favorite activities are sleep, chilling, and resting, that is when she is not going on walks and playing with her friends.
